Migrating a Linode VM to a Parallels VM

In order to accomplish this migration you will need the following tools.

  1. VirtualBox for converting the raw disk image to VHD format that we will be importing in Parallels Desktop.
  2. Latest Ubuntu Desktop CD to edit a few files on the image after we have imported in Parallels.
